Ideal for couples looking for relaxation
The shuttle service from the bus terminal was a lifesaver, felt like royalty being picked up! The onsen experience was fantastic, soaking in the outdoor baths surrounded by nature was so calming.
It wasn’t inexpensive but was still a fair deal given the experience.

osakaya ryokan was fantastic! the location was perfect, just a stroll away from yubatake. the onsen experience was incredible, with outdoor options providing a great atmosphere. breakfast was a lovely traditional sit-down meal featuring fish, and the dining setup felt classy and upscale. we also appreciated the roomy superior japanese-style room which was very comfortable for our four-night stay.
would have preferred a stool by the sink for easier use.

The location offered easy access to nearby attractions, and the friendly staff were genuinely attentive throughout our stay. The onsen experience was delightful, featuring a wonderful outdoor area surrounded by autumn foliage. Enjoying traditional meals made with seasonal local products, especially the seafood, added a cultural touch to our dining experience. However, while the room was spacious and comfortable, signs of aging were noticeable, and it would have been more convenient with a stool at the vanity sink area.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the Yubatake, and a convenience store was nearby for any necessities. The spacious superior Japanese-style room provided a comfortable stay, with ample space for showering and changing. The outdoor onsen experience surrounded by nature was a standout highlight, especially with the autumn colors adding to the scenic beauty.
The only downside was the noticeable signs of aging in some areas of the ryokan.
